The Swedish brand Saab was once one of the most respected and adored in the world, being famous for the indestructible cars it made, then also for the innovative solutions it applied to the Saab 99, 900 and 9000 generations. In the 2000s, the company seemed to it would have a relaunch, with big plans, but in the end, in 2011, Saab's then-owners, General Motors, filed for bankrupcy and the Saab factory stopped producing new cars. The promises to return under the umbrella of a new owner did not materialize, and today Saab remains a beautiful memory and a car still respected by its fans.

However, more than 10 years after the factory closed and no new Saabs were produced, it is incredible to learn that in Taiwan there is a dealer called Scandanavia Asia Corporation, that still works today! We are not talking about a single showroom or a service, but a whole network of 6 Saab centers, with specialized services and showrooms where time seems to have stood still.
In these showrooms you can see Saab 9-3, 9-5 models, as well as classic examples of Saab 900 or even Saab 900 Turbo, which are much rarer and more sought after by collectors. The cars are not new, but they look like new, because the Saab was indestructible and had to look as good at any age, but also because before being put in the showroom, these cars go through a complete revitalization in service the dealer's.
For example, this Saab 9-3 below, manufactured in 2007, has 315,700 km, almost 200K miles, and looks flawless, being treated like a new car, sitting in the showroom and waiting for its buyer.
There are also cars with figures of 100 thousand and a bit on the odometer, 200 thousand and a bit, so the variation is very large, but all these cars are united by their impeccable condition.
In fact, this is how this Taiwanese dealer made his reputation, that he is able to bring to the showroom cars that any Saab fan can buy with peace of mind, knowing that people skilled in the brand's engineering have chosen the best examples and - brought them to perfect condition before putting them in the showroom.
And sometimes among the exhibited cars there are real exotic specimens, like this Saab 9000 with a 16-valve engine and an Aero kit on it.
The dealer also has a huge stock of original spare parts for Saab models, which he gathered from everywhere he could. And sometimes he sells parts to buyers from overseas and countries, so his reputation has reached far across the world among Saab fans and owners.
And, paradoxically, the business is not dying. This dealer even opened a new showroom in 2021, and it's as viable as can be. In a way, these people refused to close when the factory closed and let the Saab fans down, leaving them without help and support. And now Saab fans and owners from all over the world are discovering this still active dealer as a hidden treasure and ordering from here the parts they can't find anywhere else, and the bravest come to buy Saabs here. Because the cars also come with a guarantee and the promise that they will be able to be technically serviced in the future!
