Ferrari Testarossa is the symbol of the Italian supercars of the 80s and also of the Ferrari brand of those times. It also had a very special engine, self-proclaimed V12, but with the cylinder blocks positioned at 180 degrees, which effectively made it a boxer. And today it is one of the most sought after and desired collection models. And the collectors who manage to own such specimens, usually keep them sacredly in the garage, in correct climatic conditions and rarely go out with higher revs. One US collector, however, seems to have no problem giving his Ferrari Testarossa a little trouble.
Even though it's winter outside, and it's snowing outside and there's snow on the road, the owner of this Ferrari, with personalized Washington license plates that say SPAGHETTI, decided to take his jewel out of the garage and face the snow with it.
The car doesn't even seem to have winter tires that would ensure proper grip, so any more intense pressure of the V12 engine is left with continuous skidding.
Fortunately, the one behind the wheel seems to be in control of the classic Italian supercar and it does admirably even without sophisticated electronic systems.
Normally, snow, water and any anti-skid material would be something any collector would try to avoid as much as possible for their collector car. Not this Testarossa owner, who gave a brave and beautiful lap in the snow. In fact, it is a big question whether such an outing with a Ferrari Testarossa is an admirable act of courage or a blasphemy towards the car. Say what you think. But it is certain that this owner thoroughly enjoyed his outing with the classic Italian model.
