The Mercedes S-Class W140 is a legendary model in any engine, but its top-of-the-line version, the S600, with a V12 engine under the hood, is a version that anyone would want, and if any of us owned it, probably no one would neglect it these days, given how rare and precious it is. One owner in the US, however, left it a prey to neglect, keeping his S600 motionless in the garage for years, amidst dust, bugs and mice. Can such a car be reanimated?
In the hand of professionals — certainly yes! Step by step, chapter by chapter, the professionals of a workshop in New York restore the brilliance that this rare and glorious car deserves. It was necessary not only to work on the aesthetic side, but also to drain old gasoline from the tank and change the fuel pump. Corrections to the paint layer were also needed.
A lot of work and thorough work was done on it, so. But this Mercedes has become a gem again, and watching this magnificent process of rebirth of a legend is as pleasant as possible. See it all in the video below.
